Animal Safari Week was a
Hit, Again.

Here are just some of the activities that
the kids were involved in:
- Bomb sniffing dog demonstration from
Southwest Florida International Airport.
- The kids met "Radar" the airport dog
that scares away birds from the runways.
- Pet first aid including CPR for dogs and
cats.
- A visit to the Felids and Friends
neighborhood to meet the critter residents.
- Dog obedience training.
- Dog agility skills and competition.
- A lecture on wildlife in Florida.
- Up and personal with snakes.
- A personal introduction to two wolves.
- A visit from two six week old cougars.
- A tour of Lee County Animal Services.
- Construction of a "Pet First Aid Kit".
Needless to say - the kids were busy.
