Heat Stroke

Is a life-threatening condition!

 

	Dogs and cats do not have sweat glands so they can only dispel heat by panting and through the pads of their feet.
	Body temperature over 104˚F
	Spray the animal immediately with cool water
	Place water-soaked towels on head, neck, feet, chest, and abdomen

 

Take animal to the nearest veterinary hospital immediately

Never leave a pet unattended in a closed locked automobile!

It is against the law in many states.
