not have sweat glands so they can only dispel heat by panting and through the
pads of their feet. |

Body temperature
over 104˚F |
|
|
Spray the animal
immediately with cool water |
|
|
Place water-soaked towels on head, neck, feet, chest, and abdomen |

|
Take animal to the
nearest veterinary hospital immediately |
Never leave a pet unattended in a closed locked automobile!
It is against the law in many states.
