Animal Week

The staff and Directors of Felids and Friends had a great time at Terry Park Week in conjunction with the University of Florida and Lee County Extension Service.

Vera taught Pet  First Aid on Monday and Wednesday. On Wednesday morning Jim assisted Vera with CPR for dogs and cats.  The kids now know how to evaluate a pet in distress, perform CPR, recognize emergencies and prepare the pet for transport to a veterinary hospital.  The kids built first aid kits and took them home.
